Provably fair

Every round, fixed before the bet

Nobody can change where the bombs are once a round starts, and anyone can prove it afterwards: the player, the casino or a regulator.

How it works

Commit, play, verify

  1. Commit

    Before the round, the server picks a secret seed and shows its SHA-256 hash. The hash fixes the round without giving it away.

  2. Play

    Every path at every step in Plane Crash, and every tile of the FogRush map, rolls from the server seed, the player’s client seed and the round number. Which way the player goes cannot move a bomb.

  3. Verify

    When the round ends the seed is revealed. Hash it again and redraw the bombs: if both match, the round was fixed in advance.

Try it

See the commit check

This runs SHA-256 in your browser on a sample seed made just now. In each game, the shield button does the same for your last round and redraws every bomb; FogRush draws the whole map.

commit = SHA-256(server_seed)
roll = HMAC-SHA256(server_seed, message), first 52 bits ÷ 252
Plane Crash: message = "client_seed:nonce:step:path"; bomb = roll ≥ survival chance of that step
FogRush: message = "client_seed:nonce:column:row"; bomb = roll < 0.08, otherwise plain or a chest by its share; the start tile is always safe
